AHT Constant Wattage Heating Cables – Tmax 500 °C
PowerHeat AHT is a high-power, high-temperature, constant wattage heating cable with exceptional mechanical strength.
It is designed for freeze protection and process temperature maintenance of pipelines and vessels.
The cable can withstand a maximum exposure temperature of 500 °C, making it the highest temperature-rated cut-to-length heating cable in the world.
Its aluminium outer sheath provides the highest level of mechanical strength among all constant wattage heating cables available on the market.
The AHT heating cable is approved for use in both non-hazardous and hazardous areas in accordance with international standards. It is certified CNEX, DNV, ATEX, IEC, IECEx, and complies with European Union (CE) requirements.
Thanks to its aluminium sheath, the cable can be easily formed around valves, pumps, and instruments.

PowerHeat (AHT) Constant Wattage Heating Cable is ideally suited for freeze protection and process temperature maintenance of pipelines and vessels, even under extreme conditions.
Application Example:
Instrumentation and sampling lines must be maintained at optimal temperatures to ensure the reliability of data analysis.
Problem Example:
When exposed to temperatures above 250 °C (e.g. high-pressure steam), most self-regulating heating cables suffer damage. Mineral Insulated (MI) cables are often used in such applications, but they are factory-terminated, involve long lead times, and are complex to install on site.
The Solution – AHT
The AHT heating cable is a high-temperature constant wattage system offering:
-Withstand capability up to 500 °C (350 °C energized) without damage,
-Cut-to-length flexibility on site, ideal for installations with variable routing,
-Easy connection with junction kits or connection boxes,
-Minimum circuit length of 1 m, directly compatible with standard supply voltages (e.g. 230 V), unlike MI cables.
The AHT heating cable provides a flexible, fast-to-install and reliable alternative for temperature maintenance of instrumentation lines in extreme environments.

PowerHeat AHT Constant Wattage Heating Cables are applied across a wide range of industries, including:
-Chemical & petrochemical facilities
-Power generation and thermal power plants
-Metallurgical and steel industries
-Outdoor industrial installations and heavy process applications
-Machinery and equipment manufacturers
-Food & beverage industry
-General industrial sectors
