MicroTracer EMTS is a constant wattage heating cable designed for freeze protection and temperature maintenance of pipes and tanks, capable of operating up to a maximum temperature of 200 °C.

This cable is particularly suited for refrigeration applications, small-diameter instrument lines, and process piping in non-hazardous areas.

Constructed from silicone, it offers excellent flexibility, making it ideal for installations requiring ease of handling. It can be cut to length on site without complex design calculations.

The MicroTracer EMTS complies with current European Union (CE) standards.

Surface Temperature Limits in accordance with EN 50014*

Designed for freeze protection and temperature maintenance of pipes and tanks, the MicroTracer (EMTS) constant wattage heating cable is particularly suitable for refrigeration installations, small-diameter instrument lines, and process piping in non-classified areas.

Application Example:
Fuel oil tanks for central heating are often installed outdoors or in unheated spaces.

Problem Example:
In winter, fuel oil can solidify or coagulate, causing filter blockage, pipeline obstruction, pumping difficulties, and potentially leading to heating system failure.

The Solution – EMTS

The EMTS (MicroTracer) constant wattage heating cable effectively protects fuel tanks and piping against cold. It compensates for heat losses, maintains fuel flow, and ensures continuous and reliable system operation.

An ambient thermostat is recommended to activate the system whenever the outdoor temperature drops to +5 °C.

Constant Wattage Heating Cables – MicroTracer EMTS are used in the following sectors:

-Chemical & Petrochemical

-Machinery Manufacturers

-Pharmaceutical

-Water Treatment and Technical Laboratories

-Industrial Buildings and Construction

-Food & Beverage Industry

-General Industry
