High-Temperature Shielded Ceramic Band Heaters
High-temperature shielded ceramic band heaters of the MK type are designed for heating cylindrical parts in demanding environments.
The electrical resistance is embedded in a thin ceramic support, then enclosed in a robust stainless steel casing (DIN 1.4301), ensuring excellent heat transfer and good mechanical strength.
Thanks to their compact design, MK-type band heaters are barely thicker than mica-insulated band heaters, while allowing high specific power up to 8 W/cm².
They are suitable for continuous operating temperatures up to 450°C.
