The BlueWire heating cable is a single-core metallic alloy cable, delivering a nominal power output of 24 to 30 W/m.
Its triangular shape ensures optimal thermal contact with the catenary. This heating system for catenaries and overhead contact lines operates up to 1,000 VDC and withstands temperatures up to 80°C. Its UV-stabilized black TPE insulation ensures high thermal and electrical reliability.
Installation of the catenary and OCL heater is carried out using corrosion-resistant clips.
