R Series

R100/EOL/R/A

This junction box is designed to terminate the end of a heating cable above the insulation. The indicator lamp shows power supply status when the circuit is energized.

Engineered for use in both safe and hazardous areas (Zone 1 and Zone 2), it is made of high-quality cast aluminium with a RAL 7035 coating. Suitable for gas groups IIA, IIB, and IIC, it provides IP66 protection and ensures high reliability.

R130/3W/6/A

This junction box allows the connection of one power cable with up to three heating cables. With an R130 size (Ø130 mm), it is manufactured from high-quality cast aluminium and coated with RAL 7035 paint.

Certified according to ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and the applicable IEC/EN standards, it is suitable for both safe and hazardous areas (Zone 1 and Zone 2). Compatible with gas groups IIA, IIB, and IIC, it provides IP66 protection, ensuring robustness and safety.

R Series

R100/RTD

The flexible RTD assembly is equipped with either a 3-wire Pt100 temperature sensor or a 2-wire thermocouple, available in both Simplex and Duplex configurations. Duplex models incorporate a redundant sensing element, ensuring increased safety.

Thanks to compatibility with both Pt100 and thermocouple sensors, these assemblies offer high flexibility when used with electronic temperature controllers.

Particularly suitable for measurement on tanks, vessels, or equipment with irregular surfaces or thick insulation, these sensors are fixed directly with aluminium adhesive tape, where the use of a rigid probe would be difficult.

The housing is made of high-quality cast aluminium, coated with RAL 7035, and is ATEX certified (Directive 2014/34/EU) in compliance with IEC/EN 60079 and IEC/EN 60529 standards. They can be installed in both safe and hazardous areas (Zone 1 and Zone 2), are suitable for gas groups IIA, IIB, and IIC, and provide IP66 protection.

R Series

HT-RTD-01

Electro-Therm EXd R Series enclosures, available in three sizes (100, 130, and 160 mm), are designed for heat tracing systems in both safe and hazardous areas (Zone 1 and Zone 2, Gas IIA/IIB/IIC).

Versatile in application, they can be used as junction boxes for power or heating cables, thermostat boxes (mechanical or electronic), temperature sensor housings, or end-of-line boxes with indicator lamp.

Manufactured from high-quality cast aluminium and painted RAL 7035, they provide a high level of protection (Ex db – IP66), accept cables up to 50 mm², and are certified for extreme conditions from –60 °C to +600 °C. Wall-mounting and pipe-mounting accessories are available on request.

Capillary thermostats are adjustable ON/OFF controllers, consisting of a liquid-filled sensing bulb connected to an electrical contact via a capillary tube. The expansion of the liquid under temperature changes activates the heating circuit.

Fixed with aluminium adhesive tape, they provide surface temperature control for pipelines or vessels and allow the direct switching of a heating cable from a power supply cable. Integrated in a R130 cast aluminium enclosure, painted RAL 7035, they are suitable for both safe and hazardous areas (Zone 1 and Zone 2, Gas IIA/IIB/IIC).

ATEX certified (Directive 2014/34/EU) according to IEC/EN 60079 and IEC/EN 60529 standards, they provide a high level of protection (IP66) and are compatible with a wide range of accessories and termination kits.

Capillary thermostats are adjustable ON/OFF controllers, consisting of a liquid-filled bulb connected to an electrical contact by a capillary tube. The expansion of the liquid under temperature variations actuates the heating circuit.

Fixed to the surface of pipelines or vessels using aluminium adhesive tape, they allow precise surface temperature control.

Each thermostat can directly connect one power cable and one heating cable, providing local circuit control. Integrated into an R130 (Ø130 mm) cast aluminium enclosure, painted RAL 7035, they are suitable for both safe and hazardous areas (Zone 1 and Zone 2, Gas IIA/IIB/IIC).

R160/EHT/1W/6/A

This electronic thermostat is a single-point adjustable ON/OFF controller equipped with a Pt100 sensor.
An increase in surface temperature switches the circuit off, and it is re-energized once the temperature falls below the setpoint value with hysteresis.

Featuring a glass window, it allows visualization of the actual temperature, adjustment of the setpoint, and monitoring of the ON/OFF status of the heat tracing circuit. Installed in an R160 cast aluminium thermostat box, painted RAL 7035, it is suitable for both safe and hazardous areas (Zone 1 and Zone 2, Gas IIA/IIB/IIC).
