MAL Mineral Insulated Heating Cables – Tmax 800 °C
MAL range of mineral insulated (MI) Incoloy 825-sheathed heating cables has been developed to meet the specific requirement for a cable with high thermal capacity and electrical resistance values suitable for long circuit lengths.
To achieve this, an Incoloy 825 sheath is combined with heating conductors, allowing an operating temperature of 800 °C with resistance values ranging from 2.1 Ω/km to 36,100 Ω/km per conductor.
These MI heating cables offer excellent mechanical strength and are highly corrosion resistant.
MAL mineral insulated heating cable is approved to ATEX, IEC, IECEx, and CE standards, ensuring safe use in both hazardous and non-hazardous areas in accordance with international standards.

The MAL mineral insulated heating cable can be used for the following applications:
-Freeze protection of steam pipes or tubes exposed to temperatures above 500 °C
-High process temperature maintenance (> 350 °C)
-Applications requiring fast heat-up and high temperature maintenance
Application example: In exposed industrial installations such as steam manifolds, high-temperature pipelines, or thermal process lines, it is essential to maintain fluids at a stable and elevated temperature.
Problem example: Many heat tracing cables cannot withstand extreme conditions: long heating circuits, corrosion, mechanical stress, or elevated temperatures can lead to deterioration and compromise system reliability.
