Heating Cables – Longline (HTS1F)
Longline (HTS1F) is a single-conductor series resistance heating cable supplied in multiples of three cables to be configured as a three-phase heating system.
It is used for freeze protection or temperature maintenance of long pipelines, up to 5 km, in both safe and hazardous areas.
A typical application is the temperature maintenance of crude oils or fuel oils in above-ground or buried transfer lines.
Longline (HTS1F) heating cable reduces the number of electrical power feed points, thereby lowering wiring and distribution equipment costs. Circuits are often powered only at the ends of the pipeline.
The number of heating cables and conductor sizes are adjusted to deliver the required thermal power according to the circuit length. Longline (HTS1F) cables are connected directly to the three-phase power grid or via a step-up transformer.
Longline (HTS1F) heating cable is certified according to international standards EAC, ATEX, IEC, IECEx, and CE, ensuring safe use in hazardous and non-hazardous areas.
