Heating Cables – Longline (HTS3FM)
Longline HTS3FM is a constant wattage, three-phase series resistance heating cable used for frost protection or temperature maintenance of pipelines in both safe and ATEX zones.
This constant wattage heating cable minimizes the number of power supply points, thereby reducing costs related to power wiring and distribution equipment. Circuits are often powered only at the pipeline ends.
These heating cables are sized to deliver the required thermal power according to the circuit length. Longline (HTS3FM) cables connect directly to the three-phase network or a step-up transformer.
Its flat ribbon construction provides a large heating surface, allowing for lower operating temperatures compared to equivalent round conductor designs, which enhances safety and system longevity.
Longline (HTS3FM) heating cables are ATEX, IEC, IECEx, and CE certified for use in both non-hazardous and hazardous areas.
