LLR Longline Heating Cables – Tmax 230 °C – L = 60 km
The Longline Round (LLR) is a constant wattage series resistance heating cable, designed for temperature maintenance or freeze protection of long pipelines.
It is used where circuit lengths exceed the capabilities of parallel resistance self-regulating or constant wattage cables, in order to minimise the number of power feed points. Circuit lengths of several kilometres can be supplied from a single feed.
LLR long-distance heating cable provides a constant power output per metre, with no voltage drop along the entire length. It can be connected in single-phase or three-phase configurations.
Its continuous metallic sheath ensures high mechanical strength, reducing the risk of damage and providing greater fire resistance than most other heating cables.
LLR heating cable is certified to international ATEX, IEC and CE standards, for use in both hazardous and non-hazardous areas.

LLR heating cable combines performance and robustness for freeze protection and temperature maintenance of long pipelines: capable of covering up to 60 km from a single power feed, it delivers constant power per metre, enhanced mechanical strength thanks to its metallic sheath, and increased safety with a maximum exposure temperature up to 230 °C.

LLR heating cables are engineered for long-distance installations where freeze protection or temperature maintenance of pipelines is critical.
Application example: In refineries, power plants, chemical plants, or intercity pipelines, it is often essential to maintain fluid temperature in pipelines extending over tens of kilometres.
Problem example: Above-ground or buried pipelines are subject to continuous heat loss. Over long distances (several kilometres), adding multiple intermediate power feeds is both costly and complex. Failure of a single circuit could render the entire pipeline unusable, making maximum reliability essential.
The LLR Solution
LLR (Longline Round) heating cable is designed for ultra-long-distance pipeline heating (up to 50 km per circuit).
-Three parallel cables installed along the pipeline, connected in a star configuration at the far end, complete the electrical circuit.
-The combination of resistance, voltage, and circuit length provides precise adjustment of the required power output.
-The extruded aluminium sheath ensures robustness, excellent thermal performance, and long service life.
The LLR system is a proven and cost-effective solution for heating buried or above-ground pipelines over very long distances, while delivering long-term reliability.
