Longline HTP3F Heating Cables – Tmax 125 °C – L = 2 km
Longline HTP3F is a constant wattage, three-phase series resistance heating cable, designed for freeze protection or process temperature maintenance of medium-length pipelines, up to 2 km. A typical application is freeze protection of above-ground water lines.
This long-distance heating cable reduces the number of required power feeds, thereby lowering costs associated with supply cabling and distribution equipment. Circuits are often powered only at the pipeline ends.
The heating conductors are sized to deliver the required power according to the circuit length. HTP3F heating cables are connected directly to the three-phase supply or via a step-up transformer.
Thanks to its flat-tape construction, the Longline HTP3F provides an extended heating surface, resulting in lower operating temperatures compared to equivalent round conductors. This improves both system safety and service life.
