Longline HTS1F Heating Cables – Tmax 200 °C – L = 5 km
Longline HTS1F is a series resistance heating cable with a single conductor. It is supplied in multiples of three cables to be configured as a three-phase heating system.
It is used for freeze protection or temperature maintenance of long pipelines, up to 5 km, in both safe and hazardous areas.
A typical application is the temperature maintenance of crude oils or fuel oils in above-ground or buried transfer lines.
HTS1F long-distance heating cable reduces the number of required power feed points, thereby lowering the costs of supply cabling and distribution equipment. Circuits are often powered only from the pipeline ends.
The number of heating cables and the conductor size are adjusted to deliver the required thermal output according to the circuit length. HTS1F cables are connected directly to the three-phase network or via a step-up transformer.
HTS1F longline heating cable is certified to international ATEX, IEC, IECEx and CE standards, ensuring safe use in both hazardous and non-hazardous areas.
