The Longline Round (LLR-HV) is a series resistance, constant wattage heating cable designed for freeze protection or temperature maintenance of long pipelines.
It is used where circuit lengths exceed the capability of parallel resistance self-regulating or constant wattage heating cables, thereby reducing the number of power supply points required. Circuit lengths of several kilometres can be energized from a single feed point.
LLR-HV heating cable delivers a constant power output per meter, with no voltage drop along its entire length. It can be connected in either single-phase or three-phase configuration.
Its continuous metallic sheath provides high mechanical strength, reducing the risk of damage, and offers superior fire resistance compared to most other heating cables.
LLR-HV heating cable is certified according to international standards ATEX, IEC, and CE, ensuring safe use in both non-hazardous and hazardous areas.

Longline Round Heating Cable (LLR-HV)
The Longline Round (LLR-HV) heating cable is designed for temperature maintenance or freeze protection of very long pipelines.
Application example:
In refineries, power plants, chemical facilities, or for cross-country pipelines, certain buried or above-ground lines can extend over several tens of kilometres and require highly reliable temperature maintenance.
Problem example:
Constant heat losses demand high power output, while power supply is typically only available at the ends of the pipeline. Adding multiple power feed points is costly. Failure of a single circuit can render the entire pipeline inoperative, creating a critical need for reliability and durability.
