This self-regulating heating cable is designed for demanding industrial applications such as freeze protection of pipes and tanks, or process temperature maintenance.

Application Example:
In both industrial and building environments, water or chemical fluid piping networks must remain operational during winter.

Problem Example:
Insulation alone is not sufficient: a 25 mm pipe at 5 °C, insulated with 25 mm of insulation, will freeze in less than one hour if the ambient temperature drops to –10 °C. Steam is not a suitable solution, as condensate return lines are also at risk of freezing.

Solution:
The most reliable answer is low-power electric heat tracing. Among the available options, the FSS range provides a high-performance and well-suited solution, while an optimized control system helps to manage operating costs effectively.

Self-Regulating Heating Cables – FailSafe Super (FSS) are used in the following sectors:

-Water Treatment and Fluid Networks

--Industrial Infrastructure and Process Applications

-Industrial Buildings and Outdoor Installations

-Food & Beverage Industry
